What's Happened During the Week???

  • Our President, Sainab overdid it helping deliver food to people that needed it and has injured herself. She is sore in a few spots so hopefully, she will come good soon.

  • We have been notified that applications for RYLA close by 17th December 2021. If anyone knows a suitable candidate the please let me know.

  • We had a great Zoom meeting last week with Yvonne Farquharson speaking about Filter your Future. I don't think many people were thinking it was going to be as interesting as it was but there were a few people that sought out Yvonne's details to contact her after the meeting to follow up with her.

  • The other thing that happened at last week's meeting was that we had our club AGM. As usual, it didn't take much time but it was very productive with the result of the elections as follows:

    • 2022/2023 President                    -             Sainab Sheikh

    • 2022/2023 Vice-President           -             Ida Whiteman

    • 2022/2023 Secretary                   -             Andrew Georgiou

    • 2022/2023 Treasurer                  -             Manjula Pragasam

    • 2022/2023 President-Elect          -             Herbson Singo

  • I can also report shortly after the meeting the club's Annual Statement was submitted to Consumer Affairs
